Proposed Bylaws Changes

Our bylaws, as amended a few years ago, called for a new member of the Executive Committee to be elected on an annual basis. However, we have not been doing so. On consideration, we would like to amend the bylaws again. The new proposal is:

• Hold elections in alternate years for 2 members in each round, to serve for 4-year terms; the terms will run from September 1 of the year of election to August 31 four years hence.
• Set the term of Secretary-Treasurer to 4 years.

On a process level:

1. We will kick this process off, if it’s approved, with Ed and Jeremy continuing for two more years; Mary is resigning due to her move to Australia.
2. We are asking for two volunteers to serve a 4-year term; please email or check the Volunteer to Serve box below.
3. Jeremy will serve as Chair for the next 2 years.
4. Nora will serve as Secretary-Treasurer until August 31, 2028.
